Roxann and Mike’s Wedding

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Mike and Roxann’s wedding. It held at Robinson Ranch in Canyon Country. The weather was amazing. It was warm and sunny. It was a little too windy so we didn’t take any pictures down on the Golf Course, but the club house had beautiful architecture in front. I knew a lot of people at the wedding so shooting the wedding was so much fun it didn’t seem like work at all. I’m so happy for Roxann and Mike. They are truely in love! And they still can’t stop kissing each other! ;) If we could all be so blessed! Good luck Roxann and Mike! I wish you a lifetime of happiness! Let the honeymoon last forever :)

Comments from Roxann:

Hi Chelsea,

Let me just start by saying “WOW!” You did such a great job on the
pictures. I love them!! I’m not sure how you did it but you were able to capture
“feelings” and “emotions” in many of the pictures. I love them! I was
actually moved to tears with some of them. I love them!…did I say
that already, oh yah, at least twice ;-)

Thank you so much for what you did. You seemed to be everywhere and I
know that wasn’t easy. You captured so much detail, so much happiness,
just…so much! The pictures are such a gift. I truly appreciate everything you
did
for us.

Much appreciation!
Roxann

Florida

Florida was amazing! I went with Steve on his business trip and toured Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. We stayed at the most amazing Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale! It was very posh! I was such a happy camper… very spoiled! I went for a road trip down to Miami and my first stop was the Biltmore in Coral Gables. I’ve always wanted to go there. It was very glamorous in an old money historic way. You could just feel that great things had happened there. The architecture was amazing! After that I made my way to South Beach Miami. It was awesome! I love all the Art Deco architecture. Amazing :)

I only had two days in Miami but I sure did make the post of it! ;)

Lowen Family

Today I shot the Lowen family at their beautiful home! The front yard was the perfect spot for the family photo. We played around on the stairs and did a few shots in the house. In the end I love the outdoor shots with the natural lighting.

Egel Family

Today I shot the Egel family photo. It was fun to shoot them in front of the Christmas tree. I can’t believe Thankgiving is over and Christmas is around the corner! Crazy ;) Time flies.
We even moved the tree over to get some pics with the suede wall in the background. I think that’s my favorite back drop by far. I just love getting the mother/daughter portraits and seeing the family resembelence.

S’s Christmas Photo

I just love photographing Sophie! :) She’s so cute! I got the studio ready for Christmas. The tree looks beautiful. Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Sophie had so much fun taking all the ordiments off the tree. We had rudolph to play with as well, but in the end it’s always Daddy that puts a big smile on her face!

Young Family Photo

I met up with the Young’s at the Dune’s in Oxnard. The kids had such a great time playing at the beach. It was so great to catch up with Karen & Ron again. We shot right before sunset and the light was amazing! We went right before sunset. I just love shooting at Oxnard Shores!

Comments from Karen:
The photos are amazing!! They are all so good I will have a very difficult time trying to narrow it down to only 10 for our living room wall. Thank you sooooo much for doing this shoot for us. :-)

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I’ll talk to you soon!

Hugs,
Karen

I went with the Brokke’s to shoot some family photos for Christmas. It was a beautiful autumn day at Parmount Ranch. We got to see the shooting of a western movie. That was pretty interesting.
