Jennifer and Rich ended the year off with a fabulous wedding! I joined Jennifer in her suite at Mandalay Bay to get ready. We got some fun getting ready shots. Of course I love the eyelashes, but this time I was inspired by the shoes. The ceremony was held at the San Buenaventura Mission. I just love December weddings and this one was no different. The mission was decorated beautifully for Christmas. There were red poinsettia’s everywhere. The Reception was held at Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club. It was such a beautiful day that a reception on over looking the harbor was perfect!
I’m so jealous that they get to start 2008 on their honeymoon in Maui! That’s a good start to the new year!
January 3, 2008 - 8:28 pman - Hi Chelsea! Your pictures are beautiful. :) I have to practice wearing my lashes so you can take some great shots of them. haha

I had a fabulous Christmas up at my Annt and Uncle’s house in Santa Barbara. Lots of goodies to go around. We had a great day catching up and looking at everyone’s photos from the year.
My Cousin Dawn is at Seattle University and we all got goodies :)
My Mom makes the best glass. She has a kiln and melts glass into jewelry, clocks, wine stoppers and other decorations. Here are some items that I photographed for her Christmas gifts. She rocks! I’m totally going to add these to my new shopping cart that comes out this winter. The wine stoppers are my new favorite item.
I finally processed my Italy pictures :) Here’s a slideshow of our trip. It was the vacation of a lifetime. We went to Rome, Venice, and Tuscany. You can see all my blogs in November for some pics. I love Rome and Venice… but if I were going to go back I’d spend more time in Tuscany. I just love wine country. I really want to to back to Cinque Terre too and see all 5 towns.
On Sunday the Johnston’s headed out for their family portrait session. Kagen and Jolie had such a good time playing around. I hope Jolie had the biggest ice cream ever for being such a good little model!
Michelle’s Bat Mitzvah was at Temple Adat Elohim in Thousand Oaks. It was such a fun time. i knew the girl had style when I walked in and saw all the shopping bags on the tables! I had a great time taking some fashion shots of Michelle in the courtyard. She was so great to work with. Great dress! I hope she had a great time :)
Michelle donated items to Casa Pacifica for her Bat Mitzvah! Very admirable :)
I had the pleasure of doing the Rau family holiday portrait on Friday. So much fun! Jen picked out the location and styled her family. I love the green and pink! The best part… playing with her sweet 85 1.2 lens :) I’m definitely adding that baby to my bag for next season!

On Sunday I had the pleasure of shooting my friend Kelly’s wedding to Phil. It was a fabulous event. The wedding was held at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey. I was so happy to shoot Kelly’s wedding! It really came together beautifully. I just love the fact that Kelly and Phil have created such a loving family already. It was great to see them all rocking out on the dance floor!
