Venue Wedding Photography

On Saturday I had the fabulous opportunity to shoot with Jen Rau. She rocks!!! I always love second shooting for her! Jerelyn & Dan got married at this fabulous horse ranch (Middle Ranch in Lake Terrace) which fit perfectly with the black stetson’s that her father & groomsmen were wearing. I love cowboy hats! Especially on men in tuxes. So nice!

And of course It’s always great when the couple is so in love. All Jerelyn asked was that we got a picture of Dan when he first saw her. It was precious. I’m attaching some of my favorites below. Enjoy! :)

Jay’s Suprise Birthday Party

Sunday night I had the pleasure of capturing another Markowitz event :) Lisa planned a suprise birthday party at the Four Seasons in Westlake Village. Everyone met in the bar. Everyone mingled and enjoyed thier drinks while waiting to suprise Jay. Everyone yelled suprise!!! Jay looked very suprised and thrilled to see everyone! It’s always nice to capture the memories of such a loving family. Happy Birthday Jay :)

D’s Bar Mitzvah

This Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Dylan’s Bar Mitzvah. His ceremony was at Temple Adat Elohim in Thousand Oaks. Dylan showed up looking handsome in his suit! It was great to see the Wheeler’s again. I was really excited about shooting in the afternoon sun. It was so nice and warm. I’ve posted some pics of the ceremony in my blog. I love all the details in the temple. It just feel rich with history and tradition.

After the ceremony everyon headed over to Los Robles Greens. Everyone mingles with drinks & appetizers as the sun went down. Then Club Dylan invaded the banquet hall. It was awesome! The room was decorated in red & purple and the DJ was blasting the latest hits. Dylan entered in a white suit and purple shirt…. I almost thought Justin Timerlake just walked in! Nice entrance Dylan! Everyone partied well into the night! Great party :)

Double the pleasure!

On Sunday I met up with Stacey, Mark, Lara & Ed for a double couple’s shoot. It was fabulous. Stacey has the cutest place on Malibou lake so we shot right in her backyard and then took a boat ride to the island in the middle of the lake for more shots. I was just stoked that I got to fit a nice little boat ride into my Sunday! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. The morning sun was georgous! Of course everyone was a ton of fun too. G’s Bar Mitzvah

I had the pleasure of shooting Gabe’s Bar Mitzvah on Saturday. What a blast! A great time was had by all. His ceremony was at Temple Adat Elohim in Thousand Oaks. We started with pictures and watched all the kids head off in a big red english bus. It looked just like the red bus from Harry Potter. I’m sure all the kids just had the best time on the bus trip to the reception. The reception party was held at Los Robles Greens. The set up at Los Robles is just awesome for events. The adults had cocktail hour on one end and the kids had appetizers on the other. I loved taking photos of the kids. They we having so much fun it was contagious. They had the money machine, photo booth, tatoo paint artist and DJ games. It made me wish I was 13 again! Lisa picked out the best DJ (U think I’m Crazy Entertainment). What an awesome job he did! The music was great and he really played with the kids. A good DJ really makes a party! The Markowitz family looked like they had a really great time!
