Venue Wedding Photography

I had the pleasure of second shooting Greg & Susana’s wedding for Beth Laney. The happy couple exchanged vows at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Santa Barbara. I loved being up in the balcony during the ceremony and catching some wide angle shots. It was the perfect view to capture the ceremony. I loved how the candles were lit all the way down the aisle. The reception was held at the Hotel Mar Monte. This is the second time I’ve shot at this hotel and I just love the location. It’s the last hotel on Cabrillo blvd in Santa Barbara over looking the beach. It’s perfect for walking across the street and getting some beautiful beach formals. Susana looked so beautiful. I just loved the detail on the back of her wedding gown. Good luck to the newlyweds :)

Beverly Hills Vow Renewal

I had the opportunity to shoot the party of a lifetime working for Darin Fong. It was simply amazing! So amazing I can’t include pictures in my blog ;) I had a great time working with Darin, Pam Scott & Tara Luz. It’s always fun to work with other photogs and meet new people! :)

Santa Barbara Wine Tasting!

Work hard, play hard!

Today Steve and I took the day off to play! We were going to take the boat sailing but it was really overcast. So we decided to head up north and go wine tasting in Santa Barbara! I love spending the day just hanging out and going places I’ve never been before. We played tourist in Santa Barbara. I’ve always wanted to have Breakfast at Sambos. I lived in Santa Barbara for 3 years and never did. It was the best place to have breakfast. The omelette’s and pancakes were super yummy. We got a really nice table right on Cabrillo avenue with a perfect ocean view.

After breakfast we headed up to Santa Ynez. I’ve really wanted to go back on foxen canyon road. We tried to find Bedford Thompson, but my map was from 2003 and a lot has changed since Sideways came out! Our first stop was Foxen. It was a really charming tasting room off the beaten path. We bought a bottle of 2003 Cuvee Jeanne Marie. After that we headed up to a larger vineyard, Rancho Sisquoc Winery. I didn’t realize Rancho Sisquoc was so big! I must have been in a blended wine mood because again I chose a red table wine. We picked up a couple of bottles of the 2005 Sisquoc River Red. For our last tasting we visited the Epiphany Tasting Room in Los Olivos. The wine & chocolate were great! We got a bottle of the 2004 Revelation & Tessa Marie Coquette. I’m still stunned that a 16 year old can make such a good bottle of wine. Watch out for her! I’m sure she’ll make more fabulous wines in the years to come.

To finish up a fabulous day off I had some of the girls over for Arbonne & massages! I loved everything I had to get the anti-aging spa pack & tons of make up! If you need to stock up on your Arbonne or want to throw a party contact Eileen! She’s great!

Wine tasting with my boyfriend and girls night! What a perfect day! :)

Venue Wedding Photography

Today I shot Debby & Carey’s wedding with Beth Laney. I always love shooting with Beth! Debby & Carey got married at Montecito Country Club. It was beautiful! What a great day to get married :) It was such a beautiful sunny day! It was great having dinner with Jill & Ashley of Special Occasions of Santa Barbara. Jill planned a flawless event!

B’s Bat Mitzvah

On Saturday I shot Brigette’s Bat Mitzvah. It was in her very own backyard and it was fabulous. They laid out the red carpert for the guests…. literally! The backyard was decorated beautifully. It was the perfect layout for a party. The food was good and the guests were having a great time. Brigette & Stephanie looked so beautiful in the stunning dresses that they picked out! I had a great time capturing this special occasion for the Jaffe family!

It was great working with Dan from Eurostar Productions. Not only is he awesome at his job but he’s fun to work with too! :) I hope we work together again soon!

Hartley Botanica Bridal Fair

Chelsea Elizabeth Photography had a booth at the Hartley Botanica bridal fair. The entire place was set up for a wedding and they had a mock ceremony. It was beautiful! The site looks amazing as the sun sets and the chinese laterns glow. Command Performance catered the event and the food was amazing!!! We had to go back for seconds! The pasta & roma chicken was sooo yummy! I wanted a little bite of everything.

I had a lot of fun setting up for my booth. I worked all week on updating all my albums & website. It was fun getting all the new stuff together. I even rediscovered some previous photos that I overlooked and fell in love with. For the event I had my two BFFs Kate & Karyn helping me man the booth. We had way too much fun! All the brides that visited our table were super nice and made the whole night enjoyable.

Here’s some pics!

And when it was all over we had some fun :)

Melody and Alex Wedding

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Melody & Alex’s wedding. Melody and Alex tied the knot at Stella Mare’s Resturant in Santa Barbara. I’ve done a wedding at Stella’s event center in Santa Barbara so I was really excited to shoot at their resturant location. It was a very small intimate wedding. The location and feel of the resturant was so romantic. It really was perfect! I’ve never seen a site that matched the personality of the bride so perfect. It was decked out chabby chic with the most beautiful flowers. The room was full of family & friends. Who could ask for more. Best wishes to the happy couple!

Hastings Family

I met up with the Hastings again for a family portrait and some play pictures of Craig & Austin. The hastings have an awesome backyard so we chose that as our photoshoot. I love taking pictures of kids being kids. Catching those candid moments that parents treasure as thier kids grow. Craig & Austin were tons of fun. Those two really know how to play :)
