After shooting a wedding at Eucalyptus Lane, we stayed behind for a charity event. Eucalyptus Lane is run by Rod Houck Presents. The event was for “Angel Project” and held by VC Life & Style magazine. It was an amazing event! Angel Project is helping families dealing with AIDS. The art that was auctioned off was simply amazing. Eucalyptus lane is a fabulous site and Rod throws a great party. A great time was held by all :)

Kate came into town again this weekend so Steve and I took her out on the boat for a mini cruise. We thought it would be fun to have happy hour on the boat. Love hanging with my boyfriend and BFF :)

I was accepted into the WPJA!

YEAH! There are membership requirements for the WPJA and not everyone gets in so I feel very honored to be a member. I feel as though my portfolio just got validated! I love the photojournalistic approach to wedding photography. I love processing pictures of the wedding and knowing that I captured all the important the moments throughout the day. I love albums that tell the story of the wedding. I hope that my pictures are like looking through a peephole that gives you a sense of the emotion and feelings of the moment. :)

Brigette’s Bat Mitzvah is complete! I love the french music they picked out! It was so fun to create. I love it! I hope you enjoy it too :)

I had the opportunity to shoot for Jennifer Sanford for Jisue & Josh’s wedding. The had an awesome wedding at the Montecito Country club. The day was beatiful. I loved the name cards that Jisue had picked out. They were just soooo cute! The ceremony was outside with a traditional ceremony inside later. It was fabulous!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing a family photo session for Cher, Judy and Joseph. We all met up in Ojai. Judy works at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa so we thought it would be fun and fitting to shoot at the Ojai Valley Inn. We had a great time playing in the herb garden and at the friendship tree. The lighting was beautiful! I couldn’t asked for any better. Of course Cher and Joseph were cracking me up! What a bunch of class clowns! Laugh a minute :) hehehe

Afterwards we all went out to dinner. Thanks for dinner Joseph!!!

Today I got to be a guest! I put my hair down, got all dressed up and put some heels on. I took maybe 10 pictures and had a blast! The wedding was at Firestone & it was amazing! Lots of good wine & dancing :) There’s nothing better then celebrating with friends!

This weekend I met up with Kiana and her family at Paramount Ranch. These kids really love Harry Potter! Of course Harry Potter is one of my favorite movies as well :) We got some cute wizard shots. I told them to pretend to put a spell on me ;) It was great fun. The sticks at paramount ranch made great wands. Abracadabra!

I received the nicest email from Kiana!
