Dominique + David eSession

Dominique and David got engaged at the Santa Monica Pier…. so when it came to their engagement session there was no question as to where we had to do it! They are such a great couple!!! I was really sad that I parked in two hour parking. I could have played around with them for a few more hours! They are going to have such a great wedding! Congratulations you two :)

Andi + Ignacio Album

I just love designing albums! They are so fun and the page layout options are just unlimited. I’m always challenging myself to think out side the box when it comes to design.
I thought I’d post some of my favorite pages from Andi & Ignacio’s album.

Venue Wedding Photography

Katrina and Blake were married this weekend at the Malibu Nature Reserve. I got to tag along second shooting for Jen Rau. I so enjoyed driving the PCH to the wedding. I will make time to go to the beach this summer! My new goal is to lay out at the beach before the sun goes away :) The wedding was awesome! I so enjoyed another wedding on the bluff overlooking the ocean. Katrina’s wedding was beautiful! It was great to see all of Katrina & Blake’s friends participate and help them with their wedding.

Venue Wedding Photography

While I was in San Diego I met up with Cary Pennington and second shot a fabulous wedding at the US Grant Hotel and Saint Agnes Church. It was definitely a 5 star event! We started out with some getting ready shots at the US Grant hotel. The newly renovated hotel looks amazing on the inside. The rooms are very posh. I totally digged getting to ride in the limo with the guys over to the ceremony. I just love those party buses! For the formals we headed over to Balboa Park. The architecture was amazing! I so wish I had a place like that to shoot here. The reception at the US Grant was so elegant. When it came to dancing everyone really hit the floor! Love some of the dance shots from this wedding!

I loved shooting a wedding San Diego, it almost felt like a vacation. The whole weekend was just such a treat. I can’t wait for my next SD wedding!

I love my flare!!! I can’t believe I got this shot of some flash flair from a guest. Love it!!!
Every good Irish catholic family needs a good ‘ole gig at their wedding. Love the father of the bride getting down!!!

American Cancer Society Event

On Saturday there will be a silent auction raising funds for the American Cancer Society. This black tie event will be held at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara. I’m really excited to be participating in this event. The title of the event is “2007 Gold Coast Evening of Distinction”. For this very elegant gold coast event I’ll be donating a 16×20 canvas print of on of my favorite photos, “Santa Barbara Sunrise”.

I’ll also be donating a portrait session for any gold coast family. I’m really excited about supporting the American Cancer Society. This should be a great event!

Click here if you’d like to donate :)

Aubrey + Anh Tuan

This weekend was all about weddings in San Diego. The weekend started off with a bang with Aubrey and Anh Tuan’s wedding in Seagrove park. The wedding was absolutley beautiful! The skys were amazing. I felt like I was in Hawaii looking over those cliffs to that aquamarine ocean and big blue sky. It was perfect! Aubrey looked so beautiful! I’ve hung out with Anh Tuan’s family before so it was great to see everyone again. The highlight was going over to Anh’s on Saturday night for Phở! Yummy :) I love Phở!

Kira + Mike

On Saturday I had a great wedding for Jen Sanford. The ceremony was on the beach in Carpenteria at a private residence. I thought it would be blazing hot but I think we has the coolest spot in Ventura County that day. The costal breeze was so refreshing! The house was amazing!!!! The ceremony was so heartfelt since Kira and Mike had such a long history together. The reception was held at the private Ennisbrook clubhouse in Montecito.

The details were amazing!

I loved how the site looked at night. I did a long exposure and I love how the lights starburst and the people look like ghosts :)
