Harold and Chiyoko celebrated thier 40th wedding anniversary! Congratulations! What an accomplishment. They still act so happy in love :) The entire family got together to celebrate and get a good ‘ol family portrait. It was raining all week so we did some fun portraits inside.
I’m so excited to announce that Chelsea Elizabeth photography is taking slideshows online! Every event will get an online slideshow. My first slideshow is of Kelly and Phil’s wedding. There were married at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey. Hope you enjoy! Stay tuned for more! View full size
I love using this calculator to see how much light I’m going to have on a wedding. It’s useful for helping me plan what time to schedule a portrait session for. Check it out! What’s time is the sunset on your wedding day?
I shot my last “Trash the Dress” session in Tampa with Roz. We had so much fun in the row of trees. I love the variety between all the sessions. Roz definitely knew how to work the camera.. she was awesome!
it’s also good to note that none of these dresses were “trashed” in these sessions. Just some good, clean fun!
Rosemary was really fun to shoot. We got some shots of her tucked away in some plants. I love that they totally give off the tropical Florida vibe. :)
I’d like to introduce you to my new friend Karen from Florida. It was a blast shooting with her. She let me borrow the sweet 85mm 1.2 lens. So much fun!!!
January 11, 2008 - 12:16 amKaren Lisa Artistic Photography - I had a great time meeting you, too! Love the photo you took of me. :) You got some really beautiful TTD images in Florida!
While in Tampa I had the pleasure of photographing Krystal’s Trash the Dress session. She was so beautiful. I loved the jewelry that she picked out too! Really amazing! The hotel was so fun to shoot with that I almost didn’t go outside… but then when we did I was so inspired by the pond. We got some fun shots!
I’m having an absolute blast catching up with my photog buddies at the Imaging USA trade show in Tampa. It’s great to get together share, learn and just hang out! I’m having a great trip. I’m meeting great people and hearing some awesome speakers. There are just so many fabulous photographers out there! And they are pretty darn good people too. Here’s some from the first night where we all bonded with some good ‘ol kereoke! My song was “Every rose has it’s thorn” by Poison.. yes it does!!!! All pictures taken with my handy dandy point and shoot camera ;)
Tons of more blogging to do. Stay tuned for more fun blogs to come this week :)
January 7, 2008 - 7:23 pmMelissa Schmid - We made your blog again! Austin's only goal in Tampa was to end up on a blog and we haven't even left the airport yet and there we are! It was so great to see you again! You are super talented and so sweet!
January 9, 2008 - 6:19 pmCharlotte Geary - Hi Chelsea! I love the pictures! It was so great to hang out with you!
My last photo session of the year sure was a furry one ;) I had the pleasure of photographing two beautiful Boxers. They used to be show dogs so they had the model thing down. Yeah right! Dogs are a challenge but oh so much fun!
Right before we left we saw a cute little puppy that was definitly riding first class.. on the back of a horse! Such a cutie!
