Tina, Tyler and Trevor

Tina got the boys together for some photo fun at home! We had some fun playing around with Trevor in the nursery. Tyler was totally into his train set. I love shooting babies in their own home, their own nursery with all their favorite toys! These boys had the most beautiful blue eyes!

Kevin + Bree

Bree and Kevin’s engagement session started out at the Santa Barbara train station. I love shooting in Santa Barbara and it’s always fun to play in new places. I’d just been dying to play at the train station. The light was amazing down the tracks! Kevin and Bree were tons of fun to play with too! We expored some really cool alley’s and then headed down to the beach. Kevin and Bree were up for anything! We couldn’t have asked for better lighting! I can’t wait for ther wedding at the Westlake Village Inn next month :)  Being their wedding photographer is going to be awesome!

Composite Prints

Why pick just one print?

I love composite prints. They are so much fun! It’s the perfect way to capture the energy and feel of a portrait session. Can’t decide on just one but think they all look good as a series? No problem! Here are some fun composites from Becky and Jon’s engagement session.

February 19, 2008 - 10:57 pm an - Oh my gosh, you totally read our minds. Aaron and I were visiting his best friend this weekend and were admiring a huge poster "collage" of their e-pics. We were going to ask you about making one of these for our weddding :)

Jane’s 90!

Jane’s family all came out to help her celebrate her 90th birthday! The fabulous event was held at The Victorian in Santa Monica. Jane’s family is so talented! She was senernated not once but twice! She also got her own personal slideshow. I loved watching all the reactions! Jane has lived one amazing life! It’s great to see all her friends and family gathered to celebrate her bday with her. The young kids were so adorable! I love seeing my clients for all thier life’s milestones. It’s why I do what I do! Thanks to Joel, Carrie, Sarah and Wendy for hiring me :)

Baby Bellies ;)

Shelly looks so beautiful pregnant! I couldn’t wait to take some maternity pictures of her. Time was running short. Baby Beau is due in a few weeks! We took some quick pics at her house. My favorite is the white shirt. I think white and maternity go so well together! Shelly’s going to be a fabulous mom! I can’t wait to take pics of the baby :)

Jenny + Brian

I love shooting in SB! I ws sooo excited when Jenny and Brian wanted to do their engagement session. Santa Barbara just has such a feel to it … it’s rustic yet luxurious at the same time. I drove up with Jenny and Brian and had so much fun chatting with them about their wedding. We started out at the Santa Barbara Mission. The light there was so amazing!
We had some fun times at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Our last stop was the pier. The sunset was amazing. I think we timed the engagement session just right. Jenny and Brian were such a fun couple to shoot. It was a good way to spend a Sunday :)

New Website Launched!

Out with the old…

I had to take a screen shot so I could forever remember the first “chelseaelizabeth.com”. This site will be remembered fondly… but it was time for a new one. I think I outgrew the first site. I really wanted a separate site for portraits and weddings.

In with the new :)

I love my new splash page! My style is primary photojournalistic so I chose black and white to really show the emotion. For my playful portraits I wanted something to match my bold style. My studio’s new colors will be black, white and pink! My happy, playful style has lots of bold colors and I love pink! What girl doesn’t love pink? You’ll be seeing a lot of the funky baroque that your seeing on the blog. I’m sooo in love with it! It’s super fun, hip, and gives that pink a little edge :)

My new wedding site!
I’m really excited to launch my new portrait site! Keep watching as I launch the portrait galleries :)

New blog to go with the new site :)

What’s next? So glad you asked! Soon I’ll be launch my new shopping cart. The fun isn’t over yet ;)

An + Aaron

An and Aaron chose to play around Pasadena City Hall for their engagement session. I love the city hall because it reminds me so much of Italy. An is my #1 blogger so I was really excited to photograph her engagement! My favorite spot was the brick wall on the street leading up to the city hall. I wish I’d know about that wall before. I love textured backgrounds. It was worth almost getting run over ;) I can’t wait to shoot An and Aaron’s wedding in May!
