I <3 Twitter!

I’m so addicted to twitter! Who knew I’d find all those random thoughts and actions of others so fascinating. It’s like hanging out with everyone… but not. Ever wonder what random thoughts are going through my head? Follow me on twitter ;)

I’m so twitterpated!

Bree + Kevin

Bree and Kevin were married at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. The church is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are so conejo valley I love it! First off Bree got ready at the Westlake Village Inn. It’s beautiful and I always love taking pictures there. My favorite all time spot is just a simple wall covered in vines. The light is always beautiful. Crazy… I think it’s the most overlooked too ;) I just think Bree look so absolutely amazing there. St. Max is beautiful! I’m so glad I have a few more weddings there this summer and next! My favorite part of the day was stopping at some mustard fields with Bree and Kevin. What an adventure! Overall an amazing beautiful day!

flash back to the engagement session!

Here’s a good picture of Kevin by Jessica Lewis.

save the date!

The fabulous and talented Jen Rau took us out to take some save the date pictures. There is this oak tree right by my house that I’d really been wanting to take some pictures at for a long time. It’s so beautiful. I love the way the late afternoon sun just hits that little hill. I’m so glad I didn’t take a client there though because walking in was roughing it. I almost sprained an ankle with the killer heels I was wearing! But it’s all worth it. Here are some of my favs. I can’t wait to get my cards next week and mail them out!

La Venta Inn

I always love shooting at La Venta, but more than that I love working for Jen Rau. Of course I may be a little biased since she’s going to be my wedding photographer as well ;) La Venta is so beautiful from when you first walk in! I love waiting to see how wonderful the flowers are going to look in the fountain. The view for this wedding was particularly stunning! I was so jealous that Steve was sailing in that awesome water below.

I love wine!

Tracey + Jason Album

I just got done designing Tracey and Jason’s album. I was so excited that I had to post the pages. They were married at Pasadena City Hall. I really fell in love with this wedding. Of course because it looked like Italy and I’m obsessed with anything Italian… especially architecture! Wine tasting too :)

I’m so excited about my new Finao albums. The covers rock! The really are fun modern flush mount albums. I’ll have to post more pictures of the cover when the album comes in. I hope you enjoy the layouts!

Kristen + David

Kristen and David were married Saturday at Conjeo Creek Park. Willow Bend was absolutely beautiful! I got to catch everyone as they were coming in for pictures. I just love the bridge. The sun was coming in over the trees just perfectly. Kristen looked beautiful! I loved catching David’s expressions as he was waiting for Kristen to walk down the aisle. Priceless! The reception was held at the North Ranch Community Center. Every table had a board game on it. Such an original idea. Everyone was having a blast playing games. Jenga was a hit! I watched that table for 15 minutes waiting for the last piece to make the tower fall. They did great! I wish I could have seen the bowling rehearsal dinner party! That sounded like tons of fun :)

I love Farkel!!!

and this is why we love Kelli! I shot Kelli and Jimi’s wedding in November and they are still smiling like they were married yesterday!

I love board games! If I was there I would have played Farkel. What is your favorite board game and why? Leave me a comment!

Gia + Tyler

Gia and Tyler’s engagement session was at Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks. The gardens really are very beautiful and the sun came out just in time :) Gia and Tyler looked fabulous and were great to photograph. I think they should be models ;) They were really working in the camera. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding!

I booked a site!

As many of you know I’m eloping to Maui in October. Steve and I have planned a reception in November. I’m really excited to announce that I’ve booked the Mediterraneo room at the Westlake Village Inn. The Mediterraneo resturant is such a fabulous place that I was so excited when i found out that they had receptions as well in their private room. I love this room. I hardly have to do anything to it. Now I just have to pick out the rest of my details. Wedding planning never ends ;)

Kate + Jason

Kate and Jason decided to have thier engagement session in Santa Monica. We did a monrning session so we could avoid all the spring beach crowds. I loved having full rein of the pier with hardley any people out and about. We had tons of fun playing with all the colored walls, beach, underneath the pier and then ending the session with the bikes. I’m so glad they could take a break from all the wedding planning and just enjoy each other. After all… that’s what it’s all about :) Kate and Jason are getting married in later this year in Palos Verdes.
