Ain’t this the truth…
I celebrated an early Mother’s day with my Mom since I was shooting a wedding on Sunday. Seta and her sister didn’t forget theirs. I love this little Happy Mothers Day picture! I think getting married is the best Mother’s day gift you can give :)
Happy Mother’s day to all the Mom’s out there!!!
I had a blast heading back to my home town of Fullerton for a wedding with Jen Rau. It really was a trip driving down Chapman avenue. It looked so familar.. but so different. I’ll have to go down there again and check out some of the old spot and the old house. Sweet memories :) The wedding was at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center. It’s a really cute wedding site and museum.
sometimes when it comes to cameras.. less is more ;)
Can’t decide on one print to get framed? Why choose just one? I love the collages couples have made recently!
This one An and Aaron got poster sized (24×36 in) for their reception.
It really looks great!
The reason why I don’t have meetings on Wednesday nights after 6 ;) Gotta have your girl time! If you don’t do girls night then it’s about time you started!
Zachary is 5 weeks old! I had a cold for the first two weeks of little Zack’s life so it took me way too long to see him. But what a treat when I did. He is sooooo cute!!!! Let’s just say he dosen’t like being fully exposed for the camera.. but then again who does? My favorie shots were after a full belly and back in a cute onesy. i can’t wait to take pictures of the entire family when little Zack is 3 months old. Life is totally different when you can lift your own head ;) At least the announcements are done :)
Alisa and Kelly had their engagement sessions in Santa Babara.. one of my favorite places to shoot! Santa Barbara is just one of the most beautiful places ever. Combine that with two adorable people and you have some really cute engagement pictures! We started out at the Santa Barbara Mission and then worked our way down state street to the beach. Alisa and Kelly are such a fun couple. They danced on the train tracks and played a little soccer. My favorite was the picnic lunch with some vino :) Of course they shared! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in September!

I totally fell in love with Maravilla Gardens while shooting a wedding with Jen Rau. Too bad they weren’t available on my date. I just love old barns and beautiful gardens. Jen and I were having a blast shooting together. We got some great light! Of course every wedding is fun though! I was super excited about the sparkler ending too! I love grand exits!
Here’s a super sneak peak at Alex and Mike’s engagement session. Alex wanted to photograph in the mustard fields so I scouted the area to find the best location. I can’t believe how great these turned out! I’m so in love with this session!!!! I’d been looking foward to photographing Alex and Mike for a long time. Alex and Mike were such troopers to get some great shots in the mustard fields…. but they were so worth it!!!! I thought the field was right off the road, but 20 yards into a field is an adventure! Don’t Alex and Mike look amazing! Such a cute couple :) I think we will all remember this one! O.k. I’m going to go get a pretzel from Claim Jumper now ;)
Ivy was such a trooper for her 6 month portraits! We had fun playing in the yard, her room and the game room. We got lucky with some great light in the yard. Thanks to the neighbors for letting us steal their good light! I love pictures of babies crying too! I think it’s adorable! Life is so rough at that age … just tragic man ;) So cute! But then a few seconds later they are back to adorable smiles! Love it!

Look who’s checking in on their sister! Happy Birthday Nolan and Tanner!
I had a great time with Jessica’s family! We had some fabulous family portrait time at thier family’s house in Lake Sherwood. It’s so beautiful back there! Of course having fun subjects always makes the picture. I hope they had as much fun as I did!
