While
Jen and I were up in Sonoma we fit in one wine tasting. Since I could just go to one I had to visit
Ferrari Carano. I wasn’t dissapointed! It was amazing! The grounds were beatiful. The tasting room was exquisit. Hopefully these pictures do it justice. We headed downstairs to do the reserve tasting. I tasted 5 wines. I snuck an extra on in since I could decide on which Pinot Noir I wanted to taste ;) These are the beauties that I tasted.
I loved them all but my favorites were the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir, Tresor and the Prevail Back Forty. Jen bought me the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir for my birthday and the Zinfandel to bring back for Eric. Since I can’t drink during boot camp I’m going to have to save this for a special occasion!
They has some black chandliers that got me totally excited for my wedding because the room looked just like my reception room! Loved it!!! I can’t wait to head back up to Healdsburg for a real vacation. I could honeymoon there ;)

I love this one. Picture on the left is focused through the glass and the right is on the glass. Both shot with my 50mm at 1.2 :)
Look at those sexy legs!
Beautiful Barrel Room!
A really nice girl that we met in the tasting room took a pictures of us! Thanks!
Here’s a funny picture of Jen and some random guy taking a picture of her ;)
Before the wedding we took some time to explore Healdsburg with our cameras. This time we were prepared. We had so much fun exploring the countryside. I can’t wait to go back up to Napa later this month! It’s just the month for exploring wine country :)
We love this place!
I got Jen to do some yoga poses for me on the bridge :)
I’m in so love with the
Red Cheese photobooths! They’ve been at a few weddings I’ve been too. So I was sooo excited to see them at Stacey and Courtney’s wedding. Jen and I ducked out while everyone was eating to get our turn in the booth. These are some fun pics!
I had some fun with the B/W version
Here’s just Jen :)
When I was up in Sonoma my mom called me to let me know that she saw a picture that I took in the paper. So cool! It was of Alex and MIke’s wedding at Camarillo Ranch. When I got back into town I had to go search for a paper so I could see it for myself. I was soooo pleased to see that it was in color! That was so thoughtful of Alex’s family to put to put a nice note for them in the paper. I might have to subscribe to the paper just so I can see this section every week. I love it! Right now my habit it to grab my coffee and open my google reader to catch up on my favorite blogs. Now it’s going to add cozying up with the Sunday paper :)

I headed up to Healdsburg in Sonoma for a destination wedding with Jen Rau. I was so excited to shoot this wedding for her. We extended our trip a little to have a girls weekend. Too much fun! We got into Healdsburg on Friday and ventured out into wine country. I kicked myself for not bringing my camera. Jen took hers so I took a few pictures while she was playing with her sexy new 4×5 camera. Dosen’t she look hard core ;) It was sooo beautiful at 6:00. I just love the two hours before sunset! After our little exploration we went into Haldsburg and had an amazing dinner. The wedding on Saturday at the Madrona Manor was amazing. I can’t wait to blog it!
These beautiful photos taken by Jen Rau.
Last Saturday all the girls went wine tasting for Leanna’s Birthday. Her husband rented a huge limo for the fabulous girls day event. The day was amazing. Having a limo whlie wine tasting sure is the life. A girl could get used to such pampering ;)
I’m off for a weekend in Napa. Looking forward to this great destination wedding. I’ll be back in the office on Monday. I’ll be returning all emails and voicemails then.
