Your Wedding Day magazine threw another fabulous party last night! The LA party was held at The Ebell. It’s such a great site and I couldn’t wait to see it all set up for a party. It was a progressive party with tons of fabulous details. I was so in awe as the party moved from room to room. I met up with old friends and met a ton of great new people. I’d say the party was an overall smashing success! If your a bride getting married you have to go pick up a copy of the current issue of YWD! It’s gorgeous!!!! I was so excited that the valet put a copy on my seat. Such a treat when I jumped in the car for the ride home.
It wouldn’t be a party without a photobooth! Thanks to LA Photo Party for providing some fun times! Here I am with Jen & Meghan Aileen.
You have to check out Jen’s blog Green Wedding Shoes for some great wedding tips. The girl has style!
We had such an adventure on Asha and Stanley’s engagement session at UCLA. Asha and Stanley gave me the grand tour. I got to see where they met….. what a trip down memory lane! We started off in the science buildings and then moved onto letters and science. Asha and Stanley are the master skippers. I can’t believe how big UCLA is and how beautiful all the buildings are. I was so inspired by the architecture. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in fall at St. Max!
Desirae and Graelon were married on Saturday at Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo. The wedding was so beautiful! I knew the wedding would be a fun time after shooting their engagement session at the Santa Monica pier last fall. Desirae’s mom did all the flowers and they were amazing! Here’s a sneak peak of some of my favorites. More to come!
Desirae made such a stunning bride! She is sooo beautiful!
I love casual informal bridal party portraits.. the more laughs the better!
I love the moment when they first see each other! So sweet!
Emmett has his Daddy’s smile :)
Noni did such a good job on the flowers!!!! I love these bouquets!
Desirae and Graelon had the best details! I’m so jealous of all the crystals that she had at her wedding. Her centerpieces matched the chandeliers from the Country Club perfectly!
Graelon’s brother sang his toast! He wrote and original balled just for Desirae & Graelon! it really was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen at a wedding to date. I can’t wait to see it again on video!!!
If you’ve been following {Grey} Likes Weddings you know how great Summer is at finding all the best wedding tips. She has amazing style. I was so excited when she announced that she has two new blogs, Grey Likes Nesting and Grey Likes Baby. My best friend was just telling me that she wished she could find a cute blog for babies like all the wedding blogs. Well…. now she has Grey Likes Baby! I know these new blogs are going to be just as big of a hit as Grey Likes Weddings is. I’m so honored that Devin’s maternity session is featured on Grey Likes Baby. Stop by and let Summer know how much you love her new blog!
I’m so excited to announce that Stephanie and Kyle’s engagement session had been published by Adam and Eve Wedding Consultants. If your getting married you gotta check out the Adam and Eve wedding blog. Add it to your RSS blog reader! She’s got so many tips on great local SoCal vendors. Better yet… if you need a wedding planner give them a call!
I think pregnancy is so beautiful! it’s such a gift. Devin looks amazing in these portraits. We went with an old vintage boudoir theme for this session. The best place for vintage portraits is an old vintage house. I love shooting weddings at Camarillo Ranch and was so excited to shoot some boudoir images on those amazing vintage chaise lounges. Devin’s 6 months along in these images and I think that’s the perfect time for maternity sessions.
I love, love, love it when I find my weddings on wedding blogs. It’s the biggest compliment ever! I’ve been following Rock n Roll Bride for awhile now and was so flattered when I saw Cherie & Dan’s wedding. This blog is great for the modern bride who really wants to spice things up. Rock on!
I love taking pictures of clients through out the year and watching the kids grown. I took Skylar and Maddox’s pictures in September for their Christmas cards and these pictures are of them in their Easter outfits. They look so adorable! They invited their cousins for this session and they had so much fun! And we didn’t even get the white dresses dirty! Big plus!
Zoe and Joel’s engagement session was such an adventure! We started out at Paramount Ranch. We had such a great time. Zoe wore her mother’s skirt that she wore to her wedding. I thought that was the best idea and so special. I loved the skirt! It fit in with the rustic allure of Paramount Ranch. Of course since the green grass is so tall we had to go play in it with lots of twirls, snuggles and kisses! For our second trip we headed down to Zuma beach in Malibu for some beach fun. Zoe really wanted an engagement session in some mustard fields so I’m so happy that we discovered a little patch while driving down Kanan. It made the whole day complete!!!! Check out all the fun props Zoe & Joel brought for their session! They really did thier homework! I love the playful beach scenes! I’m really looking forward to their wedding at St. Max & reception at the Westlake Village Inn!
I desgined this super cute thank you card for Karyn’s baby shower. We used the maternity pictures that I took of her and her 3D ultrasound image. We printed it out on thick pearl card stock. They came out great! I had to share :)
