For Maggie and Alex’s engagement session we ventured to the happiest place on earth.. DISNEYLAND!!!! I haven’t been to Disneyland in years so I was so excited to go. This session was so fun, playful and romatic. There’s nothing more romantic then snuggling up with your man while your waiting in line for a ride! I was just happy to tag along. Maggie and Alex chose Disneyland because they both have season passes and have had many date nights at disneyland. I thought the park was a perfect choice to capture thier enagement pictures. Congrats Maggie & Alex!
Steve and I just got back from our Honeymoon in Hawaii. We had the best time. It was so nice to just relax, layout on the beach, smorkle and have some cocktails. Every other time we’ve gone to Hawaii we’ve been so go, go, go. This time we didn’t schedule a thing and just enjoyed our time in the sun. It was perfect!!!! We had 5 fabulous days at the Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu. It was heaven.. I highly recommend it!

Since Steve and I just got back from Oahu I thought these photos would be best fit to post today. While we were there we visited Pearl Harbor. For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to visit these photos are for you. These are of the USS Arizona Memorial. The memorial marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors killed on the USS Arizona during the Attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

While I was in Hawaii I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Heather’s family on the North Shore. I was so excited that I finally got back over to Oahu. It was just awesome to have a honeymoon at Turtle bay, but it was also great to catch up with an old friend. We took these portraits on the north shore very close to Heather’s home. I love the Banyan trees in Hawaii. I was so excited when we walked down this path to the beach. I got so inspired by these trees!
I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Rita’s family a couple of weeks ago before I left on my honeymoon. Aren’t they a cute family!!! We took these images in a really nice neighborhood in Simi Valley where we go walking. I love incorporating part of your daily life in your family portrait. Later in life Mommy & Baby will always remember the great site where they spent quality time taking great walks!
I had the pleasure of photographing Nahoko & Yoshiya’s wedding in March. I just got done designing their album and I’d love to share some of my favorite spreads with you. They were married that the beautiful La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes Estates. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of second shooting for the extremely talented Jen Rau a few weeks ago. I love second shooting because it gives me a chance to shoot with my friends and get angles I normally don’t get when I’m shooting my own weddings. This wedding was at Cafe Pinot in downtown LA and definitely had charm. The details were amazing! The food by Patina was so yummy as always!
I love designing wedding albums. I really enjoy putting the images together so that they tell the story of the day. Here’s an album that I recently designed from a wedding at Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo. All wedding albums are designed to be square albums. Once the pre-design is complete you can select the design to be printed as a fine art matte book or a flush mount album.

Steve and I are going on our honeymoon!!! Yeah I’m so excited. We are going back to Hawaii for a relaxing, do nothing week. Of course I’ve scheduled lots of fun blog posts to keep you company while I’m gone :)
