Michelle and Tracy had a great wedding at Calamigos Ranch’s Oak Grove last weekend in Malibu. I just love the rustic charm of the site. It’s so cute!!!! Of course I was super excited when I saw bales of hay again! Loved Michelle’s shoes against the bale of hay!!! Calamigos ranch + teal shoes + black & white zebra details + bales of hay = a fabulously styled wedding!

Can I just say how beautiful pregnancy is! I love these sexy maternity outfits. I love how Jessica just rocked this session. She looks amazing! Congratulations Jessica! I know your boyfriend is just going to *love* his first father’s day present!!!

Prima and Jack met me at Pasadena City Hall last week for their engagement session. I love that they brought a variety of props. Prima came with a pink ballon & an umbrella. I’m so in love with umbrella’s for portraits! My favorite image is the one of Prima and Jack in front of the purple wall. I just love how much fun they were having during the session!

Now this is what I call a wedding crasher! Moo (yes, the cow’s name is moo!) just had to mosey on over and wish Michelle and Tracey a big congratulations on getting married! Of course this just made Jen’s day! Classic! Love it!

Meg and Judson’s wedding had the most beautiful Sunday wedding. They were married onboard the Dandeana Yacht in Marina Del Rey. It was so fun cruising around the Marina Del Rey harbor while Meg and Judson celebrated getting married. Congratulations Meg & Judson!!!!

Cristie and Andrew were married on Saturday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church and had their ceremony at the Westlake Village Inn. The June gloom burned off just in time for a fabulous day. I love the location of St. Maximilian … it just represents the Conejo Valley perfectly. I love the Oak Trees! I’m so glad that Cristie left tons of time between the ceremony and reception for portraits. Cristie and Andrew got some great portraits at both the church at the Westlake Village Inn! I do have to say that they had the best cake topper I’ve seen so far! Thanks to Meghan for helping me shoot this wedding!

Hanna and Tyler had the best country wedding I’ve seen so far. Hanna’s grandfather married the couple at Bethania Lutheran Church in Solvang. The reception was held at Montanaro Farms in Los Olivos. When I saw the bales of hay in the field at Montanaro Farms I was in love!!! It’s the site of the old grocery store in Los Olivos. They kept all signs and the whole farm just has a fabulous vintage warmth about it. Hanna and Tyler are so lucky to have had such a great reception site! We took lots of portraits in the bales of hay. I hope you two are having a fabulous honeymoon in Hawaii right now! Congratulations!!!

I’m so excited to announce that Chelsea Elizabeth Photography has been featured on The Wedding Chicks blog! I’ve been a huge fan of the Wedding Chicks for a long time. Every morning I grab my coffee, open my google blog reader and see what they’ve posted for the day. They have such great taste. So I was extremely flattered when they published my engagement session and made me a preferred vendor. Please stop by their blog and drop them a comment! I’m sure you’ll love their blog as much as I do!

Janine and Kekona’s engagement session was such an adventure! We started at the beginning of Las Virgenes Canyon. There is such a great field that I always drive by that I’ve always wanted to photograph in. I’m so excited that we took portraits there. After the field we headed down to Surfrider beach in Malibu. I love that there were tall long boards along the brick wall. We also got some fun portraits of Janine and Kekone on the beach as surfers walked by. It such a perfect Southern California moment. As we were shooting we noticed that there was no wedding happening at the Adamson house. We were so excited that we just had to do a quick walk through. I’m so in love with The Adamson House. It has such great architecture, location and light! What a trifecta! Janine and Kekona are so blessed with great locations. I’m also really looking forward to their wedding at the Fess Parker Winery later this year. This session was so much fun! I was so happy when they invited me out to dinner after the session and we headed over to The Reel Inn. Such a great resturant. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks Janine and Kekona!!!
