I had the pleasure of second shooting for my friend Justine Ungaro for a great wedding at the Marvimon House in Los Angeles. I just love these details! The Marvimon house has a great urban chic vibe going on!
Andrea and Manuel had one great wedding! I loved photographing Andrea’s details. I’m so in love with those purple Roberto Cavalli heels & pink feather garter belts!!! After getting ready at the Westlake Villge Inn the girls jumped in the Limo and headed to St. Bernadine’s of Siena. I love the modern design & openness of the church. Of course I think all my favorite images of Andrea & Manuel from the ceremony they are cracking up laughing! I love wedding ceremonies where the officiant has a good sense of humor ;) After that they headed back to the Westlake Village Inn & danced the night away!

Here’s part 2 of Colleen and Brian’s fabulous Lake Michigan wedding. I had the pleasure of second shooting for my friend J.C. Carley. This was full of personal touches and tons of fun! These two sure do know how to have a good time! For a destination wedding they really did show their guests a good time!

April 10, 2010 - 7:22 pmaubrey giese - I love this wedding! Where on lake michigan was it located?
Here’s part 1 of Colleen and Brian’s fabulous Lake Michigan wedding. I had the pleasure of second shooting for my friend J.C. Carley. There are so many amazing images that I wanted to blog it just wouldn’t fit in one post! Colleen got ready at her parent’s house on Lake Michigan. I love the green walls and orange vents! They added so much color to her getting ready images. Her Callalilly Vera Wang dress is fabulous!!! She had it altered so that it zips into a cocktail dress! Wait for Part 2 to see this sexy number! The ceremony was at St. Ann of the Dune’s church.
August 11, 2009 - 9:33 amBrandi Corriveau - Yeah, the color at the lake house is fabulous! And kudos on the fun angle you found to photograph the dress in photos 3 & 4. It actually looks like a flower from that angle!
August 12, 2009 - 5:42 pmKaryn Vorhees - These are some of my favorite details ever! Those shoes are great! I love all the use of color - way to go! Fantastic!
August 22, 2009 - 11:06 pmZhipi McDougald - What a great wedding! I LOVE the tent, always wanted to plan a wedding with a tent like that. Great job on the photos, she is going to love them!!!!
January 6, 2010 - 2:07 pmAmy - I LOVE the Lake Michigan wedding. Could you possibly tell me where the reception was held? Was this a private beach? It is the kind of wedding I have always wanted and I am getting stuck finding a venue. Any info would be much help. Thank you!
I had the best time second shooting my my friend J.C. Carley for her wedding on Lake Michigan. We started off the weekend shooting Colleen and Brian’s rehearsal dinner at The Tree House. Now this is my kind of place! Totally chill and kick back… this bar is actually built around a tree. It reminds me of Papa’s and Beer but family style. The back of the bar has live music, volleyball nets and picnic tables. I love the decor of the tree house. As you can see I’m totally obsessed with these doors! I’m so grateful for JC for letting me tag along for this fabulous destination wedding!
Did I mention how cool it was to stay at the blue chip casino? It’s a floating casino!
August 12, 2009 - 5:45 pmKaryn Vorhees - What a cool spot for a rehearsal dinner! I love it! Can we do our next portrait session there? It is just too cute and I love how you took pictures in front of the doors. You're so creative and think up such cute backdrops and poses! Love these, C!
November 16, 2009 - 7:33 pmLauren - What an amazing wedding! Is there any way I can get in touch with the bride for the details??? I have been looking for that tent and would love to know where she rented from.
December 4, 2009 - 3:21 pmSarah McConnell - I am also planning a wedding on the beach in Michigan City and am having a hard time finding vendors (tents, restrooms, good caterers). I would love some recommendations.. . from anyone! Thanks...
Since Michelle and Steve love the ocean so much Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club was the perfect choice for their wedding reception! I’m so glad we got to take some portraits on the wooden sailboat! That was so much fun. I loved the view from the yacht club at night. The harbor looks so beautiful at dusk. Congratulations Michelle and Steve! I hope your having a fabulous honeymoon :)
August 7, 2009 - 3:05 pmMeghan Aileen - LOVE the last shot of the marina! And the guys shot and wooden boat are so cool. Awesome job as usual Chelsea!! New watermark looks great too.

Have I mentioned how much I love Santa Barbara !?!?! Every time I’m there it just feels like home. It’s so beautiful. Shooting there is such a breeze. Lauren and Matt got the grand tour of scenic Santa Barbara locations. We started at the court house, headed to the beach, went to Elings park and finished up at the Arlington! I love all the locations Lauren picked out. I’m so excited about the Arlington at sunset. I love the last image of Lauren and Matt!!!!
August 4, 2009 - 10:52 amAraxi - Great job on these Chelsea! I love the variety of locations that you used! I especially love this last photo in front of the theater and that you can see the moon :)
