Barbara & Jason’s beautiful destination wedding was featured on Destination I Do.  I love destination weddings and Puerto Rico is a beautiful island to get married on.  The wedding was held at the San Juan Ritz Carlton on the beach.  I loved taking the couple out for some sunset portraits after the wedding… we found a hammock that was so perfect!  I think the first image sums up the feel of the wedding perfectly.  I can’t wait to go back to Puerto Rico!!!  If you need help planning your Destination Wedding check out Destination I Do!  Click here for complete blog post.

Ceremony magazine has been published!!!  If you haven’t gotten a copy already you can find these at Barnes & Noble!  I could spend hours going through this magazine!  All the details are amazing!  There are so many images to give you tons of ideas for your wedding.

I love this image from Alyssa and Jeff’s wedding.  Such a beautiful way to decorate for the cocktail hour!

Love these spreads on bridesmaids and groomsmen.  My images are the lower left groomsmen pic from Meg & Judson’s wedding.  The other image that’s mine is Andrea’s bridesmaids from the Westlake Village Inn!  It’s featured in the middle on the bridesmaids page.

Hanna and Tyler’s wedding got a lot of attention this year on the bridal blogs!  They were featured on Get married, Elizabeth Anne Designs, Blogger Brides, and The Green Bridal Guide.  This was the cutest country chic wine country wedding in Los Olivos. The reception was held at Montanaro Farms, which is home to the old Los Olivos Groccery store in Santa Ynez.  The house was surrounded by antique cars, windmills, chairs and more.  They left the bales of hay out just for the wedding which were perfect for posing the bridal party.  I love any chance to get up to Santa Barbara wine country for a wedding :)

Alyssa and Jeff’s also got a lot of press this year. The wedding was held at Eucalyptus Lane in Ventura.  This venue is amazing! It features an old barn that has been restored and decorated with old vintage antiques inside. The garden outside is full of romantic wildflowers.  This amazing wedding was featured on Brenda’s wedding blog, Forever in the details, Happy Go Lucky Weddings, and weddingbee.

Oh yes…. Christian and Rikki are the coolest couple EVER! Maybe I’m just a little biased since he is my little brother ;)  I love how Rikki styled this session with her vintage parasol, the Harley, & railroad tracks in Ventura. I love taking family portraits. I was so happy to see that Simple Mom used one of my images for her article on how to take great family portraits.  She gives nine great tips on what to factor in when taking your family portraits.  This is great for the holiday season and perfect timing with my holiday mini-sessions.  Book for family portrait today. i still have 3 dates open in November!  You’ll love these family photos for your Christmas cards!  The image that simple mom featured was from one of my mini-sessions last year.
