Hayden Elizabeth

Hayden Elizabeth is six month’s old!  I just love taking pictures of babies as the grow in the first year. So much has changed! She can hold her head up now and smile. I think she looks like she’s going to be a redhead too! :)

Hayden Elizabeth

Hayden Elizabeth had the cutest autumn baby mini-session. The portraits are to capture how cute Miss Hayden Elizabeth is at 3 months.  Since it’s getting to be fall we got some autumn pumpkin props to celebrate the season.  Thousand Oaks is such a fabulous place to live. We are so blessed with so many parks and valleys with tons of open space for yummy light.  I love these photographs since they show her just learning how to hold her head up. She’s just trying so hard!  The other portrait when she just couldn’t hold it up any longer.  Of course you can’t have a baby portrait without capturing that fabulous gummy grin!  Watch out though.. those teeth are coming soon!

Hayden Elizabeth is enrolled in the Baby’s First Year portrait program.  Keep up with all her portraits through out the year!

Hayden Elizabeth | Part II

Karyn and I headed out on an  adventure to take some portraits of Hayden. Since we are big wine lovers we took some baskets and headed to wine country.  Duck Pond Cellars was kind enough to let us take portraits in the vineyard.. I just love Oregon!  Hopefully these photos represent Hayden and Karyn’s family.  I can just see more family portraits in vineyards for years to come!

Los Robles Hospital | A birth story

I had the honor of photographing my friend Katie’s birth session a few weeks ago. I love shooting births! There just isn’t anything more emotional then a wedding…  The moments between loved ones just melt your heart.  Here’s a story of one family becoming just a little bigger!

I just thought these moments were so sweet! Waiting for baby Isaac to come!

July 13, 2009 - 9:16 am Alex - Such sweet pictures!!! WOW, 11 pounds??? I couldnt imagine, Olivia wasnt even 6, go katie is right! :)

July 13, 2009 - 12:20 pm Karyn - Oh my goodness! I just LOVE these! I'm so glad I will have a scheduled C-Section next time so that Chelsea can come out & capture the special moments for OUR family. Joey looks adorable with his little brother - he is SOOO excited, you caught the look of total excitement & joy he has over his new brother so well. I'm so happy for Katie, Nick, Joey, and Isaac and will never forget when I told Katie she was pregnant before she even knew at Chelsea's bachelorette party. It's been great having a good friend to share the pregnancy experience with. :) You rocked these (as usual) Chelsea!

Baby Shower Thank you Cards

I desgined this super cute thank you card for Karyn’s baby shower.  We used the maternity pictures that I took of her and her 3D  ultrasound image.  We printed it out on thick pearl card stock. They came out great!  I had to share :)

April 3, 2009 - 3:27 pm tasha | dolce - These are adorable! I love the bright cheerful colors!

April 3, 2009 - 4:53 pm Heather - I love these so unique, what a great idea!

April 3, 2009 - 5:29 pm Karyn - I LOVE them! They are so great! The pearl paper is wonderful because it looks good front & back and the card stock is sturdy and worth the cost. Chelsea did a great job on my maternity shoot, desigining the cards, throwing me a wonderful shower...what more could I ask for in a best friend??? Chelsea, you should post the back as well. :)
