Barbara & Jason’s beautiful destination wedding was featured on Destination I Do. I love destination weddings and Puerto Rico is a beautiful island to get married on. The wedding was held at the San Juan Ritz Carlton on the beach. I loved taking the couple out for some sunset portraits after the wedding… we found a hammock that was so perfect! I think the first image sums up the feel of the wedding perfectly. I can’t wait to go back to Puerto Rico!!! If you need help planning your Destination Wedding check out Destination I Do! Barbara and Jason’s wedding was amazing!!! The ceremony and reception were at the San Juan Ritz Carlton. What a perfect tropical destination beach wedding. The weather was perfect and the wedding was right on the beach. I love taking the bridal party into the palm trees for some portraits. The pink ginger and birds of paradise bouquets were gorgeous! Since Jason’s a pilot the grand exit was full of paper airplanes. What wedding reception wouldn’t be complete without a game of corn hole?
Barbara & Jason had a very festive rehearsal dinner in Old San Juan at the Barrachina Resturant, home of the Original Pina Colada. I love that they had Puerto Rican dancers. They were amazing!!! What a special treat :)
On the way to the rehearsal dinner we had time to squeeze ina really quick portrait session during sunset. Big thanks to the NPS who let us into San Cristobal for the last 10 minutes. I was so excited to get to the Fort just in time to get a few portraits! We found a few cute stores on the way to the rehearsal dinner as well. I love all the nook’s & cranny in old San Juan!
Here’s the first post in a few of Barbara & Jason’s fabulous Puerto Rican wedding. They picked the Ritz Carlton for their amazing beach wedding. I love how fun, tropical & casual the the rehearsal was… flip flops & sun glasses .. I can’t think of anything better!
Steve & just got back from the best destination wedding! Barbara & Jason had an amazing wedding at the Ritz Carlton in San Juan. On the day of the rehearsal we did an engagement session in Old San Juan. I had the best time scouting Old San Juan looking for great spots to take portraits. As you can see Puerto Rico is blessed with so many fabulous locations and architecture.
