Barbara & Jason’s beautiful destination wedding was featured on Destination I Do. I love destination weddings and Puerto Rico is a beautiful island to get married on. The wedding was held at the San Juan Ritz Carlton on the beach. I loved taking the couple out for some sunset portraits after the wedding… we found a hammock that was so perfect! I think the first image sums up the feel of the wedding perfectly. I can’t wait to go back to Puerto Rico!!! If you need help planning your Destination Wedding check out Destination I Do! Just got back from another fabulous trip to Portland, Oregon. What a great visit! I loved exploring the Oregon coast with a toddler. I loved giving H a beach day in April!
I was so excited to head to Cannon Beach on a brisk April Day… and guess what.. the sun came out!
Totally coincidence to find your love’s initials written in the sand!
I was so excited to meet Polly & Chip for their engagement session! I was happy they brought their adorable puppy for the engagement session as well. She made the best prop ever! I’m looking forward to the wedding in San Diego!
Barbara and Jason’s wedding was amazing!!! The ceremony and reception were at the San Juan Ritz Carlton. What a perfect tropical destination beach wedding. The weather was perfect and the wedding was right on the beach. I love taking the bridal party into the palm trees for some portraits. The pink ginger and birds of paradise bouquets were gorgeous! Since Jason’s a pilot the grand exit was full of paper airplanes. What wedding reception wouldn’t be complete without a game of corn hole?
I had a fabulous portrait session with the Girard family for some headshots for their new band & CD. I’m so glad we chose Paramount Ranch for some great backgrounds. We ended up at the beach with a great comfy couch for some sunset beach pictures!
Here’s part 2 of Colleen and Brian’s fabulous Lake Michigan wedding. I had the pleasure of second shooting for my friend J.C. Carley. This was full of personal touches and tons of fun! These two sure do know how to have a good time! For a destination wedding they really did show their guests a good time!
Have I mentioned how much I love Santa Barbara !?!?! Every time I’m there it just feels like home. It’s so beautiful. Shooting there is such a breeze. Lauren and Matt got the grand tour of scenic Santa Barbara locations. We started at the court house, headed to the beach, went to Elings park and finished up at the Arlington! I love all the locations Lauren picked out. I’m so excited about the Arlington at sunset. I love the last image of Lauren and Matt!!!!
Janine and Kekona’s engagement session was such an adventure! We started at the beginning of Las Virgenes Canyon. There is such a great field that I always drive by that I’ve always wanted to photograph in. I’m so excited that we took portraits there. After the field we headed down to Surfrider beach in Malibu. I love that there were tall long boards along the brick wall. We also got some fun portraits of Janine and Kekone on the beach as surfers walked by. It such a perfect Southern California moment. As we were shooting we noticed that there was no wedding happening at the Adamson house. We were so excited that we just had to do a quick walk through. I’m so in love with The Adamson House. It has such great architecture, location and light! What a trifecta! Janine and Kekona are so blessed with great locations. I’m also really looking forward to their wedding at the Fess Parker Winery later this year. This session was so much fun! I was so happy when they invited me out to dinner after the session and we headed over to The Reel Inn. Such a great resturant. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks Janine and Kekona!!!
Zoe and Joel’s engagement session was such an adventure! We started out at Paramount Ranch. We had such a great time. Zoe wore her mother’s skirt that she wore to her wedding. I thought that was the best idea and so special. I loved the skirt! It fit in with the rustic allure of Paramount Ranch. Of course since the green grass is so tall we had to go play in it with lots of twirls, snuggles and kisses! For our second trip we headed down to Zuma beach in Malibu for some beach fun. Zoe really wanted an engagement session in some mustard fields so I’m so happy that we discovered a little patch while driving down Kanan. It made the whole day complete!!!! Check out all the fun props Zoe & Joel brought for their session! They really did thier homework! I love the playful beach scenes! I’m really looking forward to their wedding at St. Max & reception at the Westlake Village Inn!
