I had a great time photographing Rena & Geoff’s holiday portrait! Love the festive props! The Camarillo Ranch house is always good for some holiday cheer!

I think pregnancy is so beautiful! it’s such a gift. Devin looks amazing in these portraits. We went with an old vintage boudoir theme for this session. The best place for vintage portraits is an old vintage house. I love shooting weddings at Camarillo Ranch and was so excited to shoot some boudoir images on those amazing vintage chaise lounges. Devin’s 6 months along in these images and I think that’s the perfect time for maternity sessions.

I stumbled upon a new wedding planning blog the other day and was so impressed that I just had to blog about it. The new blog is Green Wedding Shoes. Check it out!
She put a really cute style board together and selected these photo’s from Alex and Mike’s wedding at the Camarillo Ranch House.
I’m so glad I got to do pictures with Kristina’s family this year. We were supposed to do it last year and postponed. I met Kristina at Kim and Bill’s wedding and was soooo looking forward to taking more pictures of Zoe. Those blue eyes are so expressive and beautiful! It was so much fun to do a session with the whole family. And the pumpkin bread Kristina gave me afterwards totally hit the spot. Enjoy!!!

Here’s the DeLeo’s at Kim and Bill’s wedding…

and here’s their Christmas session!

Amanda and Andrew were my first mini-session of the day on Sunday. I was so excited to shoot at Camarillo Ranch for an engagement session. The fact that it was already decorated for Christmas was an added bonus. The red walls of the stables and barn are amazing! Amanda and Andrew are such sweethearts. They totally worked it for this session! Congratulations on getting married later in the year at
Hartley Botanica!

I can totally tell which ones are Amanda and Andrew’s favorites by thier order.
This one was a hit!

I’m so glad they liked some of the unusual angles :)

I love the christmas card they picked out!

Here are some examples of just how beautiful the Camarillo Ranch House is!

When I was up in Sonoma my mom called me to let me know that she saw a picture that I took in the paper. So cool! It was of Alex and MIke’s wedding at Camarillo Ranch. When I got back into town I had to go search for a paper so I could see it for myself. I was soooo pleased to see that it was in color! That was so thoughtful of Alex’s family to put to put a nice note for them in the paper. I might have to subscribe to the paper just so I can see this section every week. I love it! Right now my habit it to grab my coffee and open my google reader to catch up on my favorite blogs. Now it’s going to add cozying up with the Sunday paper :)

Alex and Mike got married at the Camarillo Ranch house. No detail was left untouched. I can’t imagine how much time it took to plan this wedding. It was absolutely gorgeous. It couldn’t have been for a nicer couple either. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Alex and Mike over the past year. I’m so sad that they are moving to Arizona but I’m so happy for them. They are going to have a great life together. Congratulations and best of luck to your new adventure!!!
I’m going to do another blog post just for the details. They were too much fun! She had fans, sign in boards, individual notes for guests hanging from the tree, red photo booth, smoking lounge, chandeliers hanging from the tree, cookie jars, grooms cake, sparklers and more! Stay tuned!

View the engagement session. One of my favorites!
For this image I was totally inspired by Drew Barrymore’s new
Lashblast campaign. Big eyelashes shot wide angle. Totally hot and makes the eyes pop!

The first glance! I always love this part :)

Getting ready to jam in the photobooth ;)

Alex and Mike put on a excellent show…. the broke out into a dance that wowed all their guests!

Just goofing at at the Camarillo Ranch house. Who says the hired help can’t have a litte fun too? This is just one of the little reasons I love my job :) Alex and Mike’s wedding was a grand affair. Tons more pictures to blog later. It really was amazing!
Araxi and I still found some time to sneak away and play in the photobooth. These things are so much fun. Next time we’ll have to find some time to play dress up with all the funky hats and wigs.

Here’s a silly one of me and Zhipi. She did an awesome job coordinating this wedding!
