Kate + Jason

Kate and Jason had an amazing wedding in Palos Verdes this weekend. This was fun group. The ceremony was held at St. Lawrence Matyr Church. I loved how the priest set up the church… I had front row seats to Kate and Jason and loved shooting in that church. The available light was pefect! The party really got started at the reception. Those boys could dance!!! The dance floor was on fire and I’m can only imagine how late in the night they danced!
Have a fabulous honeymoon you two!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of second shooting for Arlene Mutter. Nina and JR were married in old town Pasadena. It was amazing! I’d forgotten just how historic and beautiful Pasadena is. The ceremony was held at Saint Andrews Church. I love that church. It’s just breathtaking. I felt like I walked into a NYC or European Cathedral. It was simply amazing. I hope my pictures do it justice. Afterwards we took some formals at Pasadena City Hall and then we were off to the reception. The party took place at the City Club in downtown LA. What a view. It’s on the 54th floor of the Wells Fargo building. When we left the reception the sidewalks were empty and all the trees were light up with white Christmas lights. I felt like I was in New York City. It was surreal. :)

I loved the golden amphitheater in the park :)
What a beautiful place to get married and worship!

The view from the City Club is amazing!

I had the opportunity to shoot a navy wedding with Beth Laney this weekend. I love military weddings! It’s so top gun! This is my second navy wedding and the sword ceremony is just the best. I feel like I’m in a movie every time.
Chrissy & greg got married at
El Montecito Presbyterian Church and the reception was held at Santa Barbara Yacht Club. The sunset view at the yacht club was amazing. Both families were incredibly nice and made it a great event to photograph! The groom cut the cake with his sword… definitely one for the books :)

I had the pleasure of second shooting Greg & Susana’s wedding for Beth Laney. The happy couple exchanged vows at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Santa Barbara. I loved being up in the balcony during the ceremony and catching some wide angle shots. It was the perfect view to capture the ceremony. I loved how the candles were lit all the way down the aisle. The reception was held at the Hotel Mar Monte. This is the second time I’ve shot at this hotel and I just love the location. It’s the last hotel on Cabrillo blvd in Santa Barbara over looking the beach. It’s perfect for walking across the street and getting some beautiful beach formals. Susana looked so beautiful. I just loved the detail on the back of her wedding gown. Good luck to the newlyweds :)

I had the pleasure of second shooting for Jen Rau this weekend for Shannon & Robert’s wedding. Shannon & Robert got marriedd at CLU. This wedding was awesome! They got the coolest old car to take them from the church to the reception. I had the best time with Jen taking shots of them with the car. Shannon & Robert graduated from Cal Lutheran University. Everyone had a great time celebrating on their old stomping grounds :)
