Maggie and Greg were married a year ago and Maggie wanted a Anniversary portrait. I think this is such a good idea! I love any excuse to put your wedding dress on again. Maggie wanted to head to downtown Pasadena and start with this Pink Wall. Much to our surprise we found this awesome lime green wall too. I was in heaven with that lime green wall! It went so well with Maggie’s pink sash! After downtown pasadena we traveled over to Pasadena City Hall for some more portraits. One of my favorite spots in Pasadena is this old brick wall with moss growing on it. I’m so glad Maggie got her fabulous Anniversary portraits!
I’m so excited to announce that Stephanie and Kyle’s engagement session had been published by Adam and Eve Wedding Consultants. If your getting married you gotta check out the Adam and Eve wedding blog. Add it to your RSS blog reader! She’s got so many tips on great local SoCal vendors. Better yet… if you need a wedding planner give them a call!
I think pregnancy is so beautiful! it’s such a gift. Devin looks amazing in these portraits. We went with an old vintage boudoir theme for this session. The best place for vintage portraits is an old vintage house. I love shooting weddings at Camarillo Ranch and was so excited to shoot some boudoir images on those amazing vintage chaise lounges. Devin’s 6 months along in these images and I think that’s the perfect time for maternity sessions.
I love taking pictures of clients through out the year and watching the kids grown. I took Skylar and Maddox’s pictures in September for their Christmas cards and these pictures are of them in their Easter outfits. They look so adorable! They invited their cousins for this session and they had so much fun! And we didn’t even get the white dresses dirty! Big plus!
My BFF Karyn is in town for her Baby Shower. We’ve been having the best time over this past week and a half. I’m so sad that she’ll be going back to Oregon soon! Karyn had two showers this weekend. The family shower on Saturday and then I hosted the the work & girlfriend shower on Sunday. They were both fabulous! Miss little Hayden Elizabeth is going to be the best dressed baby out there. She got the cutest little clothes, blankets & shoes and toys. I think Karyn and Jason are going to be set. I can’t wait to see Hayden in some of those adorable dresses!!!!
I love the favors that Karyn’s mom got. These adorable purses are manicure sets!
Our friend Shawnah brought Shane over after the shower. He’s 6 weeks old and so cute! I held him forever!
We set aside some time for some maternity pictures. Karyn wanted a cute pic for her Thank You card. These are taken right outside my house! It was just a quick session but I love what we got!
I had the extreme honor of photographing the birth of Kelly and Phil’s son today. I love the fact that I was at both of their beginnings! I shot their wedding in 2007 and now I’m photographing a another milestone. I got to Los Robles about 15 minutes before Kelly delivered and man did she make it look easy! I think maybe I can handle it now ;) Nicholas came to us about 10 minutes later. I got to see him get measured, weighed, and bathed. He’d just the cutest little thing ever. I loved watching Kelly and Phil with their new son! Congratulations!!!!! I’m really looking forward to watching Nicholas grow up!
