Happy Holiday’s from the new Mrs. McCormick!
Whoo hoo! I survived the year as both a wedding photographer and a bride. Trust me ladies… I know exactly what you all go through ;) I’m looking forward to 2009 as a newlywed and photographer. I have a feeling 2009 is going to rock!!!
Happy Holidays!!! Thank you all for helping make 2008 a fabulous year!
Amanda and Andrew were my first mini-session of the day on Sunday. I was so excited to shoot at Camarillo Ranch for an engagement session. The fact that it was already decorated for Christmas was an added bonus. The red walls of the stables and barn are amazing! Amanda and Andrew are such sweethearts. They totally worked it for this session! Congratulations on getting married later in the year at
Hartley Botanica!

I can totally tell which ones are Amanda and Andrew’s favorites by thier order.
This one was a hit!

I’m so glad they liked some of the unusual angles :)

I love the christmas card they picked out!

and I love, love, love the picture they picked out for the back of the card. It’s my favorite from their engagement session!

I met up with the Lowen’s for thier annual family portrait for the Christmas card. I was so excited that we got to use thier neighbor’s vineyard for the portrait session. There is nothing I love more then portraits in a vineyard at the golden hour. It’s the trifecta! ;)
And if anyone wants to know how they can look as cute and styled as this family check out Julia Rose & Company in Ojai. Taffy owns it! They have the cutest boutique clothes. Tell Taffy you saw her on my blog and that she looks fabulous!

Super cute card to send out for Christmas this year!

I was so glad that Mara called me and asked me for a portrait session while I was on my way up to Ojai. The timing worked out just perfect. We got a really cute holiday portrait in their backyard. Then we headed off to the field where they walk their dogs every day. I thought it was so fitting to get some pictures showing the love they have for their dogs and is representative of the simple things they do every day. The dogs had so much fun during this session! They are beauties!

and a super cute Christmas card for the Redden’s!

Zhipi wanted some nautical themed holiday portraits so we headed on down to the Channel Islands harbor. Let’s just say that it was sunny in Thousand Oaks and arctic down in the harbor. It’s like we’d traveled up to Alaska.. ok maybe not that extreme but chilly!!!! Zhipi’s hair looked so beautifully straight when we headed over… but it just wouldn’t be Zhipi without those curls ;) LOL! We tried!
I love this one of them laying on the grass. I had Zachary’s crab in my hand and he was just dying to play with it!

loved it in sepia, color and b/w.. just couldn’t decide!

Cute one of the boys!
and we designed the cutest holiday card. It’s a 5×7 folded card. It’s just as cute on the inside and back as it is on the cover!
