H is 10 months now. For this visit Karyn told me about the tulip festival at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. Of course after seeing the website I just had to go. I’m so grateful that it was sunny just long enough for us to visit the farm. It was amazing!!! Just a sea of color. I had be the best time watching H crawl and around and explore.
I’m in love with this sea of yellow!

Love this huge smile :)

what a sea of violet!

Fushia tulips :)

Love the assorted colors of all the tulips

She needed a good bath after we let her crawl through the dirt!

The tulips at the Wooden Shoe tulip farm are so beautiful!

The landscape is just as beautiful as the details!

Just got back from another fabulous trip to Portland, Oregon. What a great visit! I loved exploring the Oregon coast with a toddler. I loved giving H a beach day in April!
I was so excited to head to Cannon Beach on a brisk April Day… and guess what.. the sun came out!

Totally coincidence to find your love’s initials written in the sand!

This girl likes to crawl, crawl, crawl!

H was having a blast playing in the sand!

I can’t believe we saw the end of the rainbow!

Of course some PJ time from a toddler’s view

Hayden Elizabeth is six month’s old! I just love taking pictures of babies as the grow in the first year. So much has changed! She can hold her head up now and smile. I think she looks like she’s going to be a redhead too! :)

I headed back up to Portland to visit Karyn for her birthday. Hayden is six months now so she was tons of fun! We had a great time at The Stepping Stone resturant. They have the best mancakes! yes, giant size pancakes! yummy!!!

We headed to Multnomah falls to get some fun pictures!

I had a fabulous time photographing the Chestnut’s at McMenamin’s. Who knew Oregon had such great light!!! What a great looking family :)

We headed over to McMenamin’s again for Karyn’s family portrait. I could shoot here everyday!

Karyn and I headed out on an adventure to take some portraits of Hayden. Since we are big wine lovers we took some baskets and headed to wine country. Duck Pond Cellars was kind enough to let us take portraits in the vineyard.. I just love Oregon! Hopefully these photos represent Hayden and Karyn’s family. I can just see more family portraits in vineyards for years to come!

Pears are the state fruit of Oregon!

The whole reason I headed up to Oregon is this beautiful baby below! My best friend Karyn had Hayden…. she’s such a miracle! I loved photographing Karyn and Hayden in the nursery. These special moments are what life is made of!

Meg is such a good dog mommy :D

Meg protecting the nursery!

Hayden loves a good burrito!

Of course we couldn’t get out of the house without having to give Hayden a bath!

I had a great time photographing Zhipi’s family at McMenamin’s! We shot for a little bit and then had a great meal. I wish they had McMenamin’s in California!

I had the pleasure of photographing Heather’s girls while I was in Portland. I loved shooting in a new city! Fun time was had by all :)
