I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Rita’s family a couple of weeks ago before I left on my honeymoon. Aren’t they a cute family!!!  We took these images in a really nice neighborhood in Simi Valley where we go walking.  I love incorporating part of your daily life in your family portrait.  Later in life Mommy & Baby will always remember the great site where they spent quality time taking great walks!

I love taking pictures of clients through out the year and watching the kids grown.  I took Skylar and Maddox’s pictures in September for their Christmas cards and these pictures are of them in their Easter outfits. They look so adorable! They invited their cousins for this session and they had so much fun!  And we didn’t even get the white dresses dirty!  Big plus!

I had a great time with the LaSala Family on Monday. Cherie had the best idea of the boys fishing and running around with ballons. I hope I gave her artistic vision justice. She dressed the boys up like good old all american boys. Such a classic shot! We met up at Rancho Simi Valley Park. It’s such a cute little hidden oasis in Simi Valley. I love the duck pond! This family was having soooo much fun!!!

I love checking my web stats. Every morning I get up, drink my coffee and sit down in front of the computer. It’s so addicting. I love checking out what sites are linking to mine and how brides are finding me. Sometimes I get hundreds of hits from the knot and am just so curious to see what brides are talking about. This morning I found this link back to “bestwedphotographers.com”. They liked Jennifer and Brian’s pictures so much they featured my blog on their page. I thought that was pretty cool! Thanks! Jennifer and Brian were married on Saturday at Lost Canyons Golf Club. It’s this really cute golf course nestled back in the Canyons in SImi Valley. I was so happy to find this venue. The club house is just adorable and it has these amazing views of the mountains in Simi Valley. The best thing was the cool breeze blowing through the canyon! Cause it sure does get hot in the Valley! Jennifer looked so beautiful! The reception was so amazing outside on the patio with the white lights strung up. So romantic :)

Becky and Jon were married at Tierra Rejada golf course this weekend. I love golf courses because they are such beautiful blank canvases. Beautiful backgrounds that you can make your own. The ceremony was at this beautiful gazebo. I love those weeping willows too. I was telling Becky that I thought Tierra Rejada would match perfectly with their engagement pictures. I love watching couples on their wedding day … you can just see how in love they are. They way Becky and Jon looked at each other was priceless. Hopefully I captured it! As soon as the ceremony was over the party was a rock’n thanks to my new favorite DJs Gold Dust Entertainment.

It’s just the week for albums! I just got Nolan’s album inn and it’s a little cutie. I I though ahead to take some pictures of it this time :) It’s such a great way to capture a 6 month old. I always enjoy seeing what the pictures look like printed out, but it really doesn’t compare to how good images look in a fine art album. The mat pages just make the colors pop and the black and whites are so crisp.

Ivy was such a trooper for her 6 month portraits! We had fun playing in the yard, her room and the game room. We got lucky with some great light in the yard. Thanks to the neighbors for letting us steal their good light! I love pictures of babies crying too! I think it’s adorable! Life is so rough at that age … just tragic man ;) So cute! But then a few seconds later they are back to adorable smiles! Love it!
