Westlake Village Headshots | Patti

I the pleasure of photographing Patti for her new headshot. Patti wanted some new portraits for her website. Patti is an amazing Masseuse. If you are in need of a massage you should definitely give Patti a call. She works wonders! We met at a networking group and have kept in touch ever since! We headed to the hills right behind where we live and it was amazing. The light was perfect and we found some good scenery. I love finding new locations for portraits. I’ll have to do some maternity and baby portraits there!

Los Robles Hospital | A Birth Story

I had the extreme honor of photographing the birth of Kelly and Phil’s son today.  I love the fact that I was at both of their beginnings!  I shot their wedding in 2007 and now I’m photographing a another milestone.  I got to Los Robles about 15 minutes before Kelly delivered and man did she make it look easy!  I think maybe I can handle it now ;)  Nicholas came to us about 10 minutes later.  I got to see him get measured, weighed, and bathed.  He’d just the cutest little thing ever.  I loved watching Kelly and Phil with their new son! Congratulations!!!!!  I’m really looking forward to watching Nicholas grow up!

More Christmas Portraits!

I met up with my Cousin Laura to take her annual family portrait. This year we met up a really cute park in the Conejo Valley. The bridge was so cute for a family portrait. I love that she chose blue this year! Mix it up from the expected red and green. And of course Sophie was all smiles because Santa loves good kids that give big smiles for the photographer ;) Cheese! I’m so glad Sophie got to go visit Santa after the visit. Hopefully next year I can go with them :)

Zachary is 5 weeks!

Zachary is 5 weeks old! I had a cold for the first two weeks of little Zack’s life so it took me way too long to see him. But what a treat when I did. He is sooooo cute!!!! Let’s just say he dosen’t like being fully exposed for the camera.. but then again who does? My favorie shots were after a full belly and back in a cute onesy. i can’t wait to take pictures of the entire family when little Zack is 3 months old. Life is totally different when you can lift your own head ;) At least the announcements are done :)

Kristen + David

Kristen and David were married Saturday at Conjeo Creek Park. Willow Bend was absolutely beautiful! I got to catch everyone as they were coming in for pictures. I just love the bridge. The sun was coming in over the trees just perfectly. Kristen looked beautiful! I loved catching David’s expressions as he was waiting for Kristen to walk down the aisle. Priceless! The reception was held at the North Ranch Community Center. Every table had a board game on it. Such an original idea. Everyone was having a blast playing games. Jenga was a hit! I watched that table for 15 minutes waiting for the last piece to make the tower fall. They did great! I wish I could have seen the bowling rehearsal dinner party! That sounded like tons of fun :)

I love Farkel!!!

and this is why we love Kelli! I shot Kelli and Jimi’s wedding in November and they are still smiling like they were married yesterday!

I love board games! If I was there I would have played Farkel. What is your favorite board game and why? Leave me a comment!

Gia + Tyler

Gia and Tyler’s engagement session was at Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks. The gardens really are very beautiful and the sun came out just in time :) Gia and Tyler looked fabulous and were great to photograph. I think they should be models ;) They were really working in the camera. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding!

Gardens of the World | Seta + Sako

I met up with Seta and Sako for some engagement pictures at Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks. It’s such a little treasure in the heart of Thousand Oaks. We walked through japaense gardens, spanish courtyards to Italian fountains. We had fun exploring the gardens, hunting for some good light for some killer portraits. I used to work with Seta so it was great seeing her again. She’s going to have a fabulous wedding! I can’t wait to photograph them again!

Michelle’s Bat Mizvah

Michelle’s Bat Mitzvah was at Temple Adat Elohim in Thousand Oaks. It was such a fun time. i knew the girl had style when I walked in and saw all the shopping bags on the tables! I had a great time taking some fashion shots of Michelle in the courtyard. She was so great to work with. Great dress! I hope she had a great time :)

Michelle donated items to Casa Pacifica for her Bat Mitzvah! Very admirable :)
It was great seeing Bridgette again!

Boudoir

On Monday I had a smoking hot boudoir session with 3 fabulous women. We had a great time! Who knew photo shoots could be so much fun! Here are a few that are fit to print :) Sorry the others are just way to hot for blogger ;)

Joel + Carrie

I survived my first double weekend! I had two fabulous weddings this weekend, one on Friday and my second on Saturday. Both were for great couples so it was no sweat. Both weddings were friends from Baxter (my job in a former life) so I was really looking forward to seeing some old Baxter friends. I think I got the double schedule down :)

The wedding was held at Christian Church of Thousand Oaks and the reception was held at North Ranch Community Center. I was so excited when I found this cute little fountain behind the church. It was our little garden of eden :) Joel & Carrie as such an adorable and loving couple! A good time was had by all!

This is my all time favorite bouquet toss picture… this girl really went for it! You can still see the petals flying in the air. I love it!
Angela is an amazing singer!!! I’m really excited about shooting her wedding in October :)
