Let me start off by saying how fabulous Amy’s diamond is! Just like her reception! The rooftop at the Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara was perfect for their celebration :) Being at their reception I couldn’t help but smile, what a great group of people!

Amy’s Petit Four wedding cake was as yummy as it looks… love that amazing blue sky in the background :)

Seashells accented their reception details, perfect for a beach town wedding!!

Doesn’t it look like the world disappears around them when they are looking at each other? Their first dance was everything it should be… and now every time they hear their song play they will think of this sweet moment.

The tent made their reception cozy and romantic… I hope everyone got a chance to look up and watch the rain hit the clear top with the intense blue sky blanketed around us :)

Maybe it was being in beautiful Santa Barbara. Maybe it was the magic of being on a rooftop while it rains. Maybe it was just the joy of being newlyweds. Whatever the reason, these two fell more in love with each other in this instant.

There are no words to describe how hilarious this karaoke group was. The guys sang to Amy and the girls sang to Steve and it was classic. Pure comedy.

Another affectionate candid moment, I think it’s so romantic that he kisses her on the forehead.

This photograph captures the energy of their reception perfectly!

Alison & Brent got married at Eucalyptus Lane in Ventura. It was such a beautiful garden wedding. I thought it was so perfect how Alison’s smile just lit up every time she looked at Brent. It was a fun wedding to shoot because we knew so many people at the wedding. I almost felt like a guest :)
See more pictures from Eucalyptus Lane in the Angel Project post. We love it so much we stayed there all day :)

Eucalyptus Lane has the most amazing barn ever! I’m sooo in love with it!

I had to sneak into the barn for some pictures :)

I just love the trees! And a little hint of purple :)

Sunday was Sophie’s 2nd Bday. We had a BBQ at Conejo Creek Park in Thousand Oaks. We had Meat Locker catered in. So yummy!!! They have the best BBQ ever! I was so stuffed from tri-tip but i still saved a little room for cake.
Sophie had a great time at the park with her new wagon wheel. Makenna and Austin got a special ride. Of course Tina had to pull them – Sophie insisted ;) So cute!!!! I wish I was small enough to get a ride in the wagon… need to lose a few more pounds first ;)
It was good to hand out with the family :)

I had the pleassure of photographing a couple’s Valentine’s dinner for the Camarillo Evangelical Free Church in Camarillo. It was in the Clubhouse at Village of the Park. It was beautiful! I really want to go back and do a model shoot there ;) Red’s BBQ was catered in. The entire club house was decorated in a red cowboy theme. The whole event was a blast! It was great to see each couple walk up arm in arm! Love was in the air :) It’s always a great time to photograph such fun group!
If you’d like to order a 5×7 for $7 please email me. I’ll give them to Karyn to take to church so you don’t have to pay S&H.
