I had so much fun with this couple shooting this Westlake Village wedding. It was a unique Persian wedding. The couple got ready at the Westlake Village Inn in Westalke Village, California. As we drove back to the private residence were the ceremony and reception were to be held we decided to stop alongside a country road. The setting and sunlight was magical! The timing was right with the sunset and we captured all the beauty of this bride and groom.

A vintage style engagement band.Their first glance was so sweet. He was really surprised!A softie for the pets, love when they are included in the celebration.Beautiful colors and styles for these bridemaids. We had the best sunlight to capture so many great shots. We pulled over on the side of a country road and just started shooting.
All decor was vintage, and done by the groom, bride and their families. A cousin of the family hosted the wedding at their home. The couple used all recycled materials for the decorations. It was handmade to showcase their mindset of sustainability, and the outdoor garden setting kept things simple and earthy. The colors represent the earth, their values, and their Persian heritage, combined. The reception had a feel of whimsical, eclectic, and intimate. Lots of candles, too, and hanging Christmas white lights were hung everywhere.
